Now THAT makes sense. It almost seems as if many of the rabbinical laws take the actual rule, step back 5 paces and THEN draw the line – as if those 5 paces create a safety net. My opinions are not fully formed as I am still learning but I have often wondered how they got separate sinks from this scripture.

They call it a safety fence, rather than a net 🙂
